“TECH NOTES” endeavors to bring to the IT specialist the most important articles and information culled from a wide variety of online venues as well as articles written by the site owner that relate to the technical professional.

Though this site is oriented towards those professionals doing development with the Microsoft .NET environments, information regarding other environments may be posted.

   I thought you might like this. We have just released The Code Project Browser Add-in for VS 2005. It is a free (no registration) add-in for Visual Studio 2005.    The Code Project Browser Add-in for VS 2005
   It lets you browse Code Project directly in Visual Studio 2005. When you click on a link that would normally download a zip file, it asks you instead if you’d like to open the sample up using the Code Project Browser. If you say yes, the add-in will download the file, unzip it to a base “My documents\My Code Project Samples” directory, then load it directly. It also provides a sidebar where you can view, reload and delete all of the projects you’ve downloaded. Finally, it allows you to keep Code Project favorites, just like any respectable web browser would.

    Have you ever considered about adding a little bit more than just your articles? I mean, what you say is valuable and everything. However think of if you added some great visuals or video clips to give your posts more, “pop”! Your content is excellent but with pics and videos, this blog could definitely be one of the most beneficial in its niche. Wonderful blog!
